Acceptable Use Policy

Never allowed

• Anything illegal where you or your customers are, including illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia where prohibited.
• Weapons, ammunition, explosives or parts that are illegal to sell or ship to the buyer.
• Counterfeit, stolen or pirated goods, or goods that infringe someone's trademark, copyright or other rights.
• Content that sexually exploits minors, or any adult content involving non-consenting people.
• Hate, harassment, violence or terrorism promotion.
• Fraud, scams, phishing, fake reviews, pyramid schemes or misleading health claims.
• Malware, spam, or attempts to attack, overload or break into SellOrchard or other stores.
• Collecting card or bank details outside a connected, compliant payment gateway.

Allowed only with care: age-restricted and regulated products

Products such as e-cigarettes and vaping products, tobacco, alcohol, CBD and hemp products, knives and similar items may only be sold where they are legal, to buyers of legal age, and in line with all local rules. If you sell them, you must:

• Turn on an age gate and age verification appropriate to your market.
• Block sales and shipping to places where the product is not allowed.
• Show any legally required warnings and labels.
• Use a payment gateway that permits these products.
• Never market to minors.

SellOrchard provides tools to help, but you remain fully responsible for compliance.

Fair use of the platform

• Stay within your plan's limits (products, storage, emails and staff).
• Only send marketing emails to people who agreed to receive them, and include an unsubscribe link.
• Don't use a store mainly as file hosting or to serve content unrelated to selling.

Reporting

To report a store that breaks this policy, email legal@sellorchard.com with the store's address and what you found.
