Pay-ins that land in your account

Each store connects its own provider accounts, so payouts, disputes and processing fees stay between you and your provider. Turn on one card provider at a time, plus PayPal.

Express checkout

Skip the form when the wallet already knows the address

Wallet buttons can appear under Add to cart on the product page, in the cart and at the top of checkout. The shopper picks a shipping address inside Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link or PayPal; shipping options, taxes and discounts are recalculated live as the address changes, and the order is placed through the same rules as the regular checkout.

For Apple Pay, SellOrchard registers your store domains with Stripe or Square for you and shows each domain's status, with a Re-check button.

  • Choose where buttons show: product page, cart, checkout
  • Dark, light or outline buttons, with your preferred height
  • Pickup, booking and digital-only carts never ask for a shipping address
  • Pay-later messages under prices on product and cart pages

When a card is declined

A decline doesn't cost you the order

The usual way

  • Shopper starts again from an empty form
  • A second order appears for the same cart
  • Stock is double-reserved or oversold

In SellOrchard

  • The order is created once and the shopper stays on checkout
  • They retry with another card or method on that same order
  • Stock is held for 60 minutes, then released automatically
  • Unpaid online orders get a "Complete payment" button on the order page

Pay-later and age-restricted products

Questions

Checkout & payments: answered

Still curious? The help center walks through every setting.

Does SellOrchard charge transaction fees?

No. SellOrchard adds no fees to your sales. Your payment provider charges its own processing fees under your agreement with them.

Which payment providers can I connect?

Stripe, Square, Authorize.net or NMI for cards (one at a time), plus PayPal. You can also offer cash on delivery and bank transfer.

Can I offer Apple Pay and Google Pay?

Yes, through Stripe or Square. With PayPal you can add PayPal express and Venmo for US shoppers. SellOrchard registers your store domains for Apple Pay with Stripe or Square automatically.

Which buy-now-pay-later options are supported?

Klarna, Afterpay and Affirm through Stripe, PayPal Pay Later through PayPal, and Afterpay through Square — each subject to your provider's eligibility rules for amount, currency and country.

Can I issue a partial refund?

Yes. Enter any amount up to what was captured and the refund is sent through the original provider. Offline payments can be recorded as refunded manually.

What happens when a payment fails?

The order is created once and the shopper stays on checkout to try again with another card or method on the same order. Stock is held for 60 minutes; after that an unpaid order is cancelled and the stock released.

Can I take payments during the free trial?

Trial stores run in test mode: you can connect providers' test keys and place test orders, but no real payments are taken until you choose a plan.

Connect your payment account in minutes

Paste your test keys during the free trial, place a test order with Apple Pay or a test card, and switch to live when you choose a plan.

No credit card needed to start.
