The library
Six designs, six very different shops
Each theme starts from a real need — a grocer wants search up top, a jeweller wants editorial space, a salon wants the booking calendar front and centre.
Orchard
The signature all-rounder: lots of white space, a fresh green accent, a split hero, category tiles and a newsletter band.
Atelier
Fashion and jewelry. Serif headlines, a full-screen cover image, a lookbook gallery, a mega menu and a photo-grid product page with a sticky buy box.
Market
Food and everyday essentials. Warm colours, a promo bar, a search-first header, round category tiles and deal cards.
Noir
Electronics and gear. A dark canvas with an electric accent, a gradient hero, sidebar filters and a specs-friendly product page.
Cloud
Age-restricted stores. Dark with neon accents, a compliance warning bar, an adults-only notice and styling that matches the age gate.
Studio
Services and appointments. The booking form sits on the product page, with a services grid, how-it-works steps, opening hours and an FAQ page.
Preview on my store
See it with your catalog, not a stock demo
Press "Preview on my store" and SellOrchard renders the theme using your real products, collections and menus in a full-screen frame. Flip between desktop, tablet and mobile, click through product and collection pages, and add things to the cart.
Nothing is written to your store while you look around. The preview link lasts two hours, isn't indexed by search engines and never fires your tracking pixels; checkout is switched off inside it.

Installing
A safe install, every time
Step 1: Pick how much to change
"Replace" applies the theme's look, templates and pages. "Design only" changes the look plus header, footer, product and collection templates, and leaves your pages alone.
Step 2: Backup first
Before anything changes, SellOrchard snapshots your theme settings, designs, the pages the theme touches and your popups. Your last 10 backups are kept.
Step 3: Theme applied
New designs go live; your previous ones are switched off but kept. A page with the same address is saved as a "(before theme)" draft copy first.
Step 4: Make it yours
Change colours, fonts and corner rounding in theme settings, and edit every template and page in the builder.

Built for age-restricted shops? Start with Cloud
Cloud includes a compliance warning bar and an adults-only notice, and it's styled to match SellOrchard's age gate. The age gate and ID checks themselves come with the Compliance plans or the Age Verification add-on. Merchants remain responsible for following the laws where they sell.
Are the themes free?
Yes. All six SellOrchard themes — Orchard, Atelier, Market, Noir, Cloud and Studio — are free on every plan, and free themes can be previewed and installed during the trial.
Will installing a theme delete my pages or products?
No. Products are never touched. A backup is taken before every install, previous designs are kept switched off, and any page that would be replaced is saved as a draft copy first. Choose "Design only" to leave pages completely alone.
How does "Preview on my store" work?
It opens a private, two-hour preview of the theme using your real products and collections, with desktop, tablet and mobile views. Nothing in your store changes, the preview isn't indexed, tracking pixels don't fire and checkout is disabled inside it.
Can I undo a theme install?
Yes. Open Backups and restore the one taken before the install. SellOrchard backs up your current state before restoring, so you can switch back again.
Can I change a theme after installing it?
Completely. Adjust colours, fonts, corner rounding and logo in theme settings, and edit every header, footer, template, page and popup in the store builder.
Can developers publish themes?
Yes. Approved developers can export a design from their own store into a theme package and submit it; each theme is reviewed before it appears in the theme store.
