Real reviews only
Reviews in SellOrchard come from your shoppers. Verified badges are set by the order history, and reviews you add by hand are never marked as verified.
What makes a review "verified"?
A review is verified when the shopper bought the product in a paid or cash-on-delivery order that wasn't cancelled — either signed in to their account or through the link in the review-request email.
Can I stop unverified reviews?
Yes. Set who can review to "Only buyers" and shoppers who haven't bought the product get a message instead of the form.
Can I approve reviews before they go live?
Yes. Choose manual publishing and every review waits in the Pending tab. You can also auto-publish verified buyers only, or everyone.
Can customers add photos?
Yes, up to four photos per review when photo reviews are switched on. You can turn photos off at any time.
Do ratings show up in Google?
Product pages include structured data with the average rating, the review count and up to five reviews when a product has published reviews. Whether search engines show stars is up to them.
Can I import reviews from another channel?
You can add reviews one at a time from the admin with the product, rating, text, author and date. They're marked as added by you and are never shown as verified.
