Discounts (/discounts) → Create discount:
- Method: Discount code (shoppers type it; letters, numbers, - and _) or Automatic (applied in the cart by itself; needs a Title shoppers see).
- Type: Percentage off, Fixed amount off, Free shipping, or Buy X, get Y (customer buys quantity of products/categories, gets quantity at a % off or free; max uses per order).
- Applies to: All products / Products in chosen categories / Chosen products.
- Requirements & limits: minimum order subtotal, minimum number of items, total uses, Once per customer, Can be combined with discount codes (automatic only).
- Who can use it: Everyone or Selected customer groups.
- Dates: Starts / Ends (optional). Toggle Active.
Only one automatic discount applies (the biggest saving). Without "combine", the better of the automatic discount and the code wins. Gift cards are never discounted. Deleting a used code switches it off instead. Automatic free-shipping discounts with a minimum power the free-shipping progress bar.
