Pro and Advanced plans (and the free trial, in test mode). Needs the Bookings staff area.

  1. Bookings -> Resources: add staff, rooms or equipment (optionally linked to a team member and a location), set each one's weekly hours and add time off / holidays or extra hours (one resource or the whole store).
  2. Create a product with the kind Booking: each option (e.g. 30 min / 60 min) has a price and a duration. In the Booking panel choose appointment (one customer per slot) or class (seats per slot), buffers before/after, minimum notice, how far ahead people can book, location (its time zone is used), resources ("Any available" or a specific one at checkout), approval, cancellation and reschedule deadlines with the refund policy (full, store credit or none), intake questions, a deposit (the rest is paid at the appointment) and email/SMS reminders. A service without resources uses its own weekly hours.
  3. Shoppers pick a date and time on the product page and check out (no shipping). They get the booking in the order email with a calendar file and an "Add to Google Calendar" link, and can cancel or reschedule from their account or the link in the email, within your rules.
  4. Bookings (/bookings): calendar (day/week/month, by resource) and list with filters; click a booking to confirm, complete, mark no-show, reschedule or cancel (with a refund); click an empty slot to add a manual booking (no payment, mark as paid, or email an invoice).
  5. Settings -> Bookings: 12/24-hour clock, first day of the week, whether customers can cancel, staff notifications, and the calendar feed URL to subscribe to bookings in Google or Apple Calendar (make a new one if it leaks). The Bookings report shows bookings and revenue by service and resource and the no-show rate.
